depth approximate; cruise report SS11/2004 (http://www.marine.csiro.au/nationalfacility/voyagedocs/2004/Summary_SS11-2004.pdf) implies volcanically inactive but: "A hydrocast (VH-11) detected a very faint transmission anomaly at about 460m (caldera sill depth) on the downcast but nothing on the upcast."
